I am a Chartered Physiotherapist with HCPC registration based in Chandler's Ford and cover an area in Hampshire around Southampton and Winchester.  After qualifying in 2006 I have gained experience particularly in the neurological field working within the NHS in Hertfordshire and London followed by a senior role in a large private hospital in London. 

Since a recent move to Hampshire I have returned part-time to the NHS working in a specialist neurological rehabilitation ward where I work with people who have complex rehabilitation needs. I have specialised in rehabilitation of the arm and hand and also working with people who have a functional neurological disorder (FND) and complex pain presentations. 

I have completed a masters in Advanced Professional Practice in Neurological Rehabilitation and have recently published a research article 'Physiotherapy Management of Functional Movement Disorders'  (Available to read for free here https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37876224/). 

I also practice acupuncture and am currently applying to be able to do this on home visit... more information about this coming soon.

I am passionate about rehabilitation, helping people regain as much function and independence as possible. I will work with you to achieve your goals, whether in your own home, care home or gym/swimming pool (with prior agreement). This may be as a standalone treatment, in collaboration with other NHS services or whilst you are waiting to receive NHS service.
